Teampilot und Nachwuchs-Strecken-Ass Felix von Mallinckrodt konnte den bald erscheinenden SPICE2 bereits ausgiebig testen. Kaum ein anderer kennt die SPICE-Serie so gut wie Felix. Auf dem SPICE1 konnte er viele Erfolge feiern. Unter anderem gewann er 2019 die Newcomer-Wertung des DHV-XC mit dem Schirm. 2020 machte er Platz 1 im Junior-Ranking DHV-XC und wurde gleichzeitig Vizemeister in der Sportklasse. Au\u00dferdem konnte Felix ein 233 km FAI, sowie ein 218 km FAI unter dem SPICE fliegen.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nachdem ich nun drei Jahre mit meinem SPICE1 erfolgreich unterwegs war, habe ich mich umso mehr gefreut den SPICE2 vorab testen zu d\u00fcrfen.<\/p>\n
Mein erster Eindruck – geringes Gewicht und minimales Packma\u00df \u2013 ganz wie ich es mag.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Das Startverhalten des neuen SPICE ist f\u00fcr seine Klasse sehr komfortabel und, wie ich finde, im Vergleich zum Vorg\u00e4nger etwas einfacher geworden. Durch das geringe Kappengewicht ist das Starten in schwierigem Gel\u00e4nde oder bei anspruchsvollen Bedingungen m\u00f6glich, was f\u00fcr mich ein gro\u00dfer Vorteil ist.<\/p>\n
Nach dem ersten Take Off habe ich mich direkt wohlgef\u00fchlt unter dem SPICE2. Der Schirm vermittelt ein sehr pr\u00e4zises Fluggef\u00fchl und fliegt sich in aktiver Luft etwas entspannter als der SPICE1. Im Zusammenspiel mit dem direkten Handling sind dies gerade f\u00fcr lange Streckenfl\u00fcge die idealen Komponenten.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mir gef\u00e4llt die Performance im\u00a0beschleunigten Flug, kombiniert mit dem neuen SPEED CONTROL system, sehr gut. Dieses funktioniert intuitiv, effizient und l\u00e4sst sich leicht in meinen sehr aktiven Flugstil einbinden.<\/p>\n
Alles in allem sind es die Facetten Handling und Performance beim neuen SPICE, welche mir vor allem in deren Zusammenspiel am meisten gefallen. Man kann mit dem Schirm sehr viel Spa\u00df am Startplatz haben, gro\u00dfe Wingover fliegen und easy Toplanden, was dem super Handling zuzuschreiben ist. Andererseits l\u00e4sst sich die Leistung die der SPICE2 mitbringt auf den Punkt abrufen, was speziell f\u00fcr mich als Streckenflieger optimal ist.<\/p>\n
Das macht den SPICE vielf\u00e4ltig und f\u00fcr mich zum perfekten Begleiter. Gerade der enorme Performance-Zuwachs zum Vorg\u00e4nger erm\u00f6glicht mir durch die deutlich h\u00f6here Schnitt-Geschwindigkeit am Ende des Tages nun noch mehr Kilometer auf der Uhr zu haben<\/p>\n
