„20 Jahre sind schon ein langer Zeitraum, vergleichbar mit einer ganzen Generation. Dennoch, gibt es immer wieder auch kurze, entscheidende Phasen, die die Richtung einer Firma bestimmen. Wenn ich zur\u00fcckblicke, dann sind die wichtigsten Momente bei skywalk paragliders, die gewesen, wo wir neue Mitarbeiter dazugewinnen konnten. Im Zentrum stehen somit nicht ausschlie\u00dflich mutige Innovationen, oder herausragende Produkte, obwohl es davon gen\u00fcgend gegeben hat und sicher auch noch viele weitere geben wird. Viel mehr sind es die Menschen, welche die Skywalk GmbH pr\u00e4gen und die alles zusammenhalten. Keiner von uns Gr\u00fcndern hatte bei der Gr\u00fcndung die erkl\u00e4rte Absicht, aus der Skywalk GmbH eine Firma mit mehr als 50 Mitarbeitern, Produktionen in mehreren L\u00e4ndern und einem weltweiten Vertriebsnetz, zu machen. Wer hat skywalk paragliders &<\/h4>\n

FLYSURFER gegr\u00fcndet?<\/h4>\n

skywalk paragliders und FLYSURFER<\/a> wurden urspr\u00fcnglich von sechs Personen gegr\u00fcndet: Armin Harich, Arne Wehrlin, Thomas Allertseder und Manfred Kistler – f\u00fcr eine kurze Zeit waren auch J\u00fcrgen Kraus und Ralf Gr\u00f6sel dabei. Unsere ersten Mitarbeiterinnen waren Christine Fischer und Maria Schneider im Jahr 2001, Sabine Patzeld folgte dann 2002. Am Anfang ging es ganz klar ums \u00dcberleben.<\/p>\n

Woher kam die Idee, die Marken skywalk paragliders &<\/h4>\n

FLYSURFER zu gr\u00fcnden?<\/h4>\n

Die Gr\u00fcnder kannten sich bereits vom Gleitschirmfliegen. Armin, Arne, Thomas und Manfred – und auch J\u00fcrgen Kraus und Ralf Gr\u00f6sel, die damals noch dabei waren. Arne Wehrlin hat zusammen mit Manfred Kistler bei einem anderen Gleitschirmhersteller als Testpilot und Entwickler gearbeitet. Manfred war dort Konstruktionsleiter. Armin kannte Arne vom Flachlandfliegen aus der Frankfurter Gegend. Und Thomas Allertseder kannte Manfred \u00fcber die Gleitschirmbranche, weil er f\u00fcr einen anderer Hersteller Leinen entwickelte. Eines Tages trafen alle aufeinander und kamen auf die Idee, gemeinsam etwas zu starten. Die heutigen Gr\u00fcndungsmitglieder philosophierten dar\u00fcber, was sie gemeinsam besser machen k\u00f6nnten als in deren aktuellen Jobs. Das Ganze war nat\u00fcrlich ein Prozess von mehreren Monaten und es dauerte etwas, bis sie dann tats\u00e4chlich eine Firma gr\u00fcndeten.<\/p>\n

Armin Harich brachte FLYSURFER, als bereits existierende Marke mit in die Skywalk GmbH. Letztendlich erg\u00e4nzten sich die Synergien perfekt: Wer eine Gleitschirmfirma gr\u00fcnden will und es bereits eine bestehende Kitefirma gibt, kann gemeinsam eine Produktionsst\u00e4tte nutzen, die Kontakte nach Asien waren bereits vorhanden. Manfred Kistler kannte den Produktionsleiter Mike Lam aus seinem vorherigen Job und erhoffte sich, dass er auch mit skywalk zusammenarbeiten wird. Das war anfangs leider nicht so einfach, da zur damaligen Zeit die Weltwirtschaft einen Einbruch erlitt – definitiv kein idealer Zeitpunkt, um eine Firma zu gr\u00fcnden. Gl\u00fccklicherweise hat die Zusammenarbeit mit der Produktion in Asien letztendlich funktioniert. Die ersten drei Jahre waren sehr schwierig, denn bei den Endkunden hat niemand auf skywalk paragliders und FLYSURFER Kiteboarding gewartet – speziell im Gleitschirmbereich war es hart. Es gab einen etablierten Markt und es herrschte ein reiner Verdr\u00e4ngungswettbewerb. Jedoch im Kitesurf-Bereich waren FLYSURFER mit dem Softkite-System die Exoten.<\/em> Zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten Arne und Manfred auch die Marke PARAMARINE gegr\u00fcndet, die \u00e4lteste der drei Marken, welche danach zu WINGAKER umbenannt wurde.\u00a0<\/p>\n
