„Damals haben wir im Flysurfer-Entwicklungsteam dar\u00fcber diskutiert, wie wir die Power- und Depowereigenschaften unserer Kites optimieren k\u00f6nnen.“<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

F\u00fcr den Luft- und Raumfahrtingenieur lag ein L\u00f6sungsweg nahe: Spaltklappen. Diese Auftriebshilfe an den Tragfl\u00e4chen von Flugzeugen dient dazu, in bestimmten Flugsituationen den Luftwiderstand und den Auftriebswert vergr\u00f6\u00dfern zu k\u00f6nnen.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dadurch werden Flugzeuge bereits bei geringeren Geschwindigkeiten flugf\u00e4hig, was insbesondere Start und Landung vereinfacht. Beim Gleitschirm bringt diese Technik einen erheblichen Sicherheitsgewinn. Man kann den Schirm bei der Landung oder in der Thermik l\u00e4nger stark angebremst fliegen, bevor die Str\u00f6mung abrei\u00dft und die Kappe nach hinten kippt.\u00a0<\/p>\n
