Wir freuen uns, Laurie Genovese im skywalk PEOPLE Team begr\u00fc\u00dfen zu d\u00fcrfen. Laurie ist bereits mit 8 Jahren geflogen – damals noch gemeinsam mit ihrem Vater. Die Gewinnerin des Paragliding World Cups in 2014 und 2018 hat bereits 2021 bei den RedBull X-Alps teilgenommen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

skywalk:<\/strong>\u00a0Was sind deine Ziele f\u00fcr dieses Jahr?<\/p>\n

Laurie: <\/strong>Das Hauptziel ist nat\u00fcrlich RedBull X-Alps im Juni. Zudem plane ich gro\u00dfe XC-Fl\u00fcge und einige Hike&Fly Wettbewerbe wie zum Bespiel „Bornes to fly“ als auch ein paar Biwak-Touren.<\/p>\n

skywalk:<\/strong>\u00a0Wie sieht dein aktuelles Training aus?<\/p>\n

Laurie:<\/strong>\u00a0Im Winter bin ich viel mit den Ski unterwegs \u2013 auf Ski-Touren und XC Skiing, um meine Ausdauer zu verbessern und H\u00f6henmeter zu sammeln. Zudem gehe ich laufen. Nat\u00fcrlich hoffe ich auf gute Flugbedingungen, aber das ist nicht immer so einfach hier. Zur Zeit ist der Fokus nicht klar gelegt… Ich kann den Fr\u00fchling kaum erwarten!<\/p>\n

skywalk:<\/strong>\u00a0Worauf konzentrierst du dich speziell?<\/p>\n

Laurie:<\/strong>\u00a0Es ist ein Full-Time Job. Ich versuche meine mentale St\u00e4rke kontinuierlich auszubauen, auf unterschiedlichster Weise. Manche Tage sind anstrengender als andere, aber ich ich verliere nie mein Ziel aus den Augen.<\/p>\n

Laurie: <\/strong>Ich liebe so viele unterschiedliche Sportarten. Rennrad fahren, Gravel-Bike Touren, Trail Running, Ski-Touren, XC-Skiing… Ich freue mich jedes Jahr auf die unterschiedlichen Jahreszeiten um all meine Lieblingssportarten auszuleben.\u00a0<\/p>\n
