Although the product release of our new xc sportster CAYENNE6 was delayed until June 2020 due to the current situation, CAYENNE6 pilots have been extremely successful on our C-glider this (short) summer!<\/p>\n

On July 24th, Dani Martinez landed after a flight of just over 8 hours and 294 km XC-kilometers<\/strong>, thus having flown the longest distance ever on a C-glider in Spain.<\/p>\n

Only a few days later, flatland guru Armin Harich siezed the next opportunity and flew a new record of 258 km<\/strong> from the Wasserkuppe in Germany.<\/p>\n

Dominik Asteiner crowned the season on his CAYENNE6 with a clear 1st place victory<\/strong> in the sport class of the Austrian paragliding league! Results that speak for themselves…<\/p>\n

All three pilots agree on the characteristics of the glider – the CAYENNE6 was built for pilots who like to fly XC at every opportunity, who prefer an efficient flying style, who fly a lot on bar.<\/p>\n

Dani Martinez on the CAYENNE6:<\/strong><\/p>\n

« With the predecessor CAYENNE5 I felt directly connected to the wing. From the first thermal on I felt its reactions even before they occurred, because the C5 gave a lot of feedback. On longer glides the glider often seemed a bit nervous, and it was not always easy to fly it efficiently, which cost me a lot of energy.<\/p>\n

The CAYENNE6 is a real game-changer here! It took a little longer to get used to at the beginning because the wing does not give as much feedback as its predecessor at first, but after a short time I felt very comfortable with it. The C6 gives me only the feedback that I really need. The glider is extremely stable in turbulence and it is very easy to keep the wing on course.<\/p>\n

The fatigue-free and efficient SPEED CONTROL means that the pilot doesn’t even have to step out of the speed bar, so he can fly much faster and react more quickly in turbulence. I often unconsciously go full throttle because the C6 gives so much confidence when flying on bar.<\/p>\n

I just love to cut through the air with the C6! You can see that skywalk focused on efficiency with the CAYENNE6, and they have succeeded in doing so. »<\/em><\/p>\n

Obgleich sich der Produkt-Release unseres neuen xc-sportsters CAYENNE6 aufgrund der Umst\u00e4nde in den Juni 2020 gezogen hat, waren CAYENNE6 Piloten diesen (kurzen) Sommer au\u00dferordentlich erfolgreich auf unserem C-Schirm unterwegs!

Am 24. Juli setzte Dani Martinez nach einer Flugzeit von knapp \u00fcber 8h<\/strong> und 294km<\/strong> zur\u00fcckgelegten XC-Kilometern zur Landung an und flog somit die bis jetzt weiteste Strecke<\/strong> auf einem C-Schirm in Spanien.<\/p>

Nur wenige Tage sp\u00e4ter nutzte Flachland-Guru Armin Harich die n\u00e4chste Gelegenheit und flog mit 258km<\/strong> einen neuen Rekord von der Wasserkuppe.<\/p>

Dominik Asteiner setzte dem Ganzen die Krone auf und holte sich diese Saison auf dem CAYENNE6 in der \u00f6sterreichischen Gleitschirmliga klar und deutlich den 1. Platz in der Sportklasse!<\/strong><\/p>

\u00dcber die Charakteristik des Schirmes sind sich alle drei Piloten einig \u2013 der CAYENNE6 wurde f\u00fcr Piloten gebaut, die bei jeder Gelegenheit auf Strecke gehen, einen effizienten Flugstil bevorzugen und gerne beschleunigen.<\/p>

Dani Martinez \u00fcber den CAYENNE6:<\/strong><\/p>

\u201eMit dem Vorg\u00e4nger CAYENNE5 f\u00fchlte ich mich ab der ersten Thermik direkt mit der Schirmkappe verbunden und sp\u00fcrte Reaktionen bereits bevor sie eingetreten sind, da der C5 sehr viel Feedback vermittelte. Auf l\u00e4ngeren Gleitfl\u00fcgen wirkte der Schirm jedoch oft ein wenig nerv\u00f6s, es war dann nicht immer ganz einfach den Schirm effizient zu fliegen und kostete mich viel Energie.<\/em><\/p>

Der CAYENNE6 ist hier ein echter Game-Changer! Er ben\u00f6tigte zwar am Anfang eine etwas l\u00e4ngere Eingew\u00f6hnungsphase, da die Kappe auf den ersten Blick nicht ganz so viel Feedback wie sein Vorg\u00e4nger vermittelt, f\u00fchlte mich nach kurzer Zeit jedoch sehr wohl unter dem Schirm. Der C6 gibt nur das Feedback weiter, das ich wirklich ben\u00f6tige. Die Kappe fliegt extrem stabil durch Turbulenzen und es ist sehr einfach den Schirm auf Kurs zu halten.<\/p>

Durch die erm\u00fcdungsfreie und effiziente Speedcontrol muss der Pilot nicht mal aus dem Beschleuniger gehen, und kann somit viel schneller fliegen und bei Turbulenzen schneller reagieren. Oft stehe ich unbewusst im Vollgas da der C6 im beschleunigten Flug so viel Vertrauen vermittelt. Mir gef\u00e4llt es einfach mit dem C6 durch die Luft zu heizen! Man merkt, dass skywalk beim CAYENNE6 den Fokus auf Effizienz gesetzt hat und das ist ihnen absolut gelungen!\u201c<\/p>
