JB Chandelier is part of the skywalk family<\/h3>\n

He is one of the greatest paraglider pilots of our time. And much more. Jean-Baptiste Chandelier is a filmmaker. An artist. Creative spirit. And in everything he does, a perfectionist. Since November 2020 « JBC » is part of the skywalk family. The goal of the collaboration is to break new creative ground together<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jean-Baptiste Chandelier is one of the most outstanding paraglider pilots of today. Like no other pilot, the 35-year-old Frenchman from Brian\u00e7on in the heart of the French Alps strives to present our sport as an art form. The fact that he is one of the best acro and freestyle pilots takes a back seat to his projects. In his films like « Urban Side » or « Light Line », he is not interested in showing how well he flies, but rather how well one can stage flying as a form of artistic expression. Jean-Baptiste’s specialty is « proximity flying », i.e. playing with the relief. He is able to fly close to the slope like no other pilot. He finds playgrounds all over the world: beaches, ski slopes, volcanic craters, skyscrapers and swimming pools.<\/p>\n

Le skywalker – and more<\/strong><\/p>\n

As a filmmaker and freestyle pilot JB is world famous. That he also designs paragliders is hardly known… so far. With skywalk, Jean-Baptiste Chandelier has found a partner that wants to break new ground with him. Together with skywalk R&D team members Alex H\u00f6llwarth and Stephan Gruber, JBC will pursue projects that go beyond the horizon of what has been possible so far. The two partners do not yet want to reveal exactly which wings will emerge from the partnership.<\/p>\n

Our claim at skywalk is « pure passion for flying »<\/strong>. With this motivation we founded the company almost twenty years ago. We wanted to pursue innovative ideas to give pilots even more fun in the sport. Jean-Baptiste is an icon of our sport and has incredibly forward-looking ideas. Together with him we will break new ground.<\/p>\n

Jean-Baptiste Chandelier ist einer der herausragendsten Gleitschirmflieger der Gegenwart. Wie kein anderer Pilot strebt der 35-j\u00e4hrige Franzose aus Briancon im Herzen der franz\u00f6sischen Alpen danach, unseren Sport als Kunstform darzustellen. Dass er einer der besten Acro- und Freestylepiloten ist, tritt bei seinen Projekten in den Hintergrund. In seinen Filmen wie \u201eUrban Style\u201c oder \u201eLight Line\u201c geht es ihm nicht darum zu zeigen, wie gut er fliegt, sondern darum, wie gut man Fliegen als k\u00fcnstlerische Ausdrucksform in Szene setzen kann. Jean-Baptistes Spezialgebiet ist \u201eproximity flying\u201c, also das Spiel mit dem Relief. Nah am Hang zu fliegen beherrscht er wie kein anderer Pilot. Spielpl\u00e4tze findet er auf der ganzen Welt: Str\u00e4nde, Skipisten, Vulkankrater, Wolkenkratzer und Swimmingpools.<\/p>

Le skywalker - und mehr<\/strong><\/p>

Als Filmemacher und Freestyle-Pilot ist JB weltbekannt. Dass er auch Gleitschirme konstruiert, bisher kaum. Mit skywalk hat Jean-Baptiste Chandelier einen Partner gefunden, der mit ihm Neuland betreten will. Gemeinsam mit dem skywalk R&D Team um Alex H\u00f6llwarth und Stephan Gruber wird JBC Projekte verfolgen, die den Horizont des bisher M\u00f6glichen sprengen. Welche Fl\u00fcgel aus der Partnerschaft genau entstehen sollen, wollen die beiden Partner noch nicht verraten. \u201eUnser Claim bei skywalk ist \u201epure passion for flying\u201c<\/strong>. Mit dieser Motivation haben wir die Firma vor fast zwanzig Jahren gegr\u00fcndet. Wir wollten innovative Ideen verfolgen, um den Piloten noch mehr Spa\u00df am Sport zu geben. Jean-Baptiste ist eine Ikone unseres Sports und hat unglaublich zukunftsweisende Ideen, gemeinsam mit ihm werden wir neue Wege einschlagen.<\/p>
