Once Mont Blanc and back again
On Wednesday (15.03.2023) this year’s Red Bull X-Alps route was announced and holds some exciting surprises. For the first time the world’s toughest adventure race will not start in Salzburg, but in Kitzbühel. Race start will be on June 11th. In addition, there is a via ferrate climb in the Sexten Dolomites to overcome and the Aletsch Glacier to cross. According to Ulrich Grill, Co-Founder of the Red Bull X-Alps, this is a route full of challenges for the athletes: “It will require a lot of strategic thinking from athletes – as well as incredible endurance. With this route, the race once again lives up to its reputation as the ‘world’s toughest adventure race’.”
So we can expect a spectacular race 🙌🏻
The facts at a glance
