Pilot, designer, employee, adventurer, athlete – but most of all: a true friend of the company. Paul Guschlbauer has been by our side for over a decade.
On May 10th, 2010 Paul started working for skywalk in the R&D-Department and as a test pilot. Always driven by new ideas and sporting ambition. It was clear early on that he would take part in the Red Bull X-Alps 2011, for which Paul developed his first paraglider and landed directly on the podium in third place. The further success story with various top 3 placements in the toughest adventure race in the world should be known to everyone.
Over the years Paul has become a true adventurer and has been able to move people across the paragliding industry with his projects. In 2018 – 2019, for example, he flew his Piper Supercub airplane from Alaska to South America along the coast – or circled his home state of Salzburg on his own.
Paul was the first professional athlete at skywalk – we went through good and bad times together and are happy to have him in our family.
For the next (at least) 10 years. Cheers Paul!
