12,069 Vertical Meters
Tobias Grossrubatscher did it! On June 23rd, the South Tyrolean set a new record in the « most gained vertical meters in Hike&Fly ». Tobi managed to coax a total of 12,069 meters out of his legs. To ensure rapid, but safe descents to the landing zone, Tobi opted for our TONKA2 miniwing.
It was a long and exhausting day, but it was worth it! Loads of enthusiastic spectators gathered at the launch site right next to the Spitzbühl hut at the Seiser Alm.
A skywalk testival, live music and tandem flights for a good cause rounded off the event.
